United - More Berbatov Talk!

United - More Berbatov Talk!

Yesterday all the rumours indicated that it was the Italian giants of Serie A lining up to try and lure Dimitar Berbatov away from Old Trafford.

Today the red-tops have a fresh angle with the former Bundesliga champions, Wolfsburg, entering the frame.

Apparently, the German side, coached by the ex-United assistant manager Steve McClaren, are willing to pay £20 million for the services of the Bulgarian striker.

Could we be about to witness some sort of auction that could very well push the price up to somewhere approaching what we paid Spurs?

Or is that wishful thinking?

Obviously when Fergie says something he means the complete opposite. He wont be sold. But i would take 20 mil and recuperate as much as possible.
