United - More Lavish Rooney Praise!

After enhancing his reputation with another superb season there`s no doubt that the stage is set for Wayne Rooney to become a global star at South Africa 2010.

Already none other than Lionel Messi has praised Wayne citing him as the player to watch this World Cup and now Messi has been joined by the legendary Italian coach Marcello Lippi.

Lippi, talking about the merits of the opposition his country may face sometime during the tournament singled out England, but more importantly our Wayne, as being the major threat, commenting,

"Wayne Rooney is a major player for them (England). He is one of the best players in the world."

"His technical and mental skills have a major effect on his team, he is simply extraordinary."

All of us here at Vital Manchester United are praying that Wayne can make an impact this time around with his growing maturity serving him in good stead as England march on to glory!

all this adulation will turn the boys head!

He will be sent off in the group satges, the pressure on that wee brian of his is about to explode. The other players know this, I expect a lot of off the ball incidents and bad tackles. I'll give him 3 matches.

It's a relief they have some one like Capello giving him an earful!

All this hype about Rooney must really be bugging Real Madrid that they're not getting the limelight.
