United - Rooney Praised by Messi!

One player will stand head and shoulders above all others at the World Cup this time around.

Many pundits expect that one player could well be Lionel Messi the outstanding Argentine forward plying his trade, on a daily basis, with Barcelona.

But Messi has his yes cast towards one of ours, a player he admires, a player he believes others should fear - Wayne Rooney.

In a recent press interview, ahead of the World Cup, Messi is reported to have praised Rooney remarking,

"I think Wayne is a great, great player."

"Not just for what he did this year. For many years now he`s been one of the greatest players of his generation and year by year he`s improving and becoming stronger."

"He`s the complete player. Very good with the ball at his feet, he has huge strength and scores goals."

"I think he makes his rivals fear him, in the Premier League and in the Champions League with Manchester United and also with England. Any defender that comes up against Rooney has a lot of respect for him because of everything he has achieved."


Fine words about a great player from a player who I believe is the greatest of his generation.

if you man utd suporters were smart you would stop attending the matches and stop buying merchandise, within 6 months of lose of revenue it would force the glaziers to sell up. if you dont do the aforementioned i assure you soon you will be selling rooney, like they did ronaldo to keep the fine balancing act of their debt in order. messi to barcelona lol. take action, as there are alot of billionaires out their who could take you places
