'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Rooney Given D-Day - June 7

The scan which will make-or-break Wayne Rooney's World Cup has been brought forward to June 7.

The 20-year-old will not travel to England's training base in Baden-Baden on Monday.

United statement: 'Following a meeting today between England's medical team and Manchester United's medical team with both managers present it has been agreed to obtain a further precautionary CT scan on June 7 in order to help the England management to make a decision (on Rooney's fitness) before the deadline of June 9.

'Both parties agree that everything possible is being done to aid recovery of a fracture that involves the joint.'
