Berbatov in Dzeko United Swoop?

Everything indicated, only a matter of forty-eight hours ago, that Sir Alex was intent on keeping Dimitar Berbatov at Old Trafford next season.

In fact quotes that appeared in the media verified that Sir Alex thought very highly of the Bulgarian.

Strange then that his name is now being linked with being a part exchange for the Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko!

Apparently, United are set to offer £28 million for the striker with Berbatov going to Wolfsburg in part exchange.

Here at Vital Manchester United we`re not paying too much attention to this rumour, other than bring it to your attention, as we recon it belongs in the pie-in-the-sky category!

More rubbish from the media,Berba is staying,I don't know why the media is hell-bent on kicking him out of Old Trafford.I don't even know if Dzeko is worth that amount.

Red Boy-There is another one for u to write.Introducing another striker Mr.Suarez.

If it is true, as much as I like Berba, Dzeko would be a much younger, mobile option! It seems very unlikely though.

Agreement already in place, his signed for spurs, but not to be made public until he returns from holiday......

Simply wont happen. First, thats a ridiculous price for a guy thats had 2 good seasons in the bundesliga. Second, we play a 4-3-3 in europe and that isnt going to change - will Dzeko come to United to sit on the bench for every big game? No is the answer, and if he did, he wouldnt be happy to do it for very long. His priority will be to get a move to AC milan - maybe in a swap deal with Huntelaar. In fact, I think there is more chance of him and berba playing together - at Milan - than there is of him coming here.

The media aren't trying to kick Berba out, simply asking how long he'll be kept, his performances have got worse and worse since he signed! He's a man going downhill, and how long will Fergie keep him while his value is dropping so fast?

that's the 30 mill question isn't it?

Dzeko is a good player but seriously a Berbatov and another Berbatov in value call me crazy but i just cant see it happening.
