United - Foster Mystery Deepens!

Yesterday we commented on how Stoke City had been financially prudent and inserted a clause, entitling them to 30% of the fee, when they sold Ben Foster to us.

Today, the red-top press are claiming that United may well have inserted some sort of clauses in Foster`s transfer to Birmingham with the Birmingham boss, Alex McLeish, remarking,

"There are clauses which I won`t divulge."

"Sir Alex is not daft ad he has protected himself and Manchester United."

Now we`ve no idea what these clauses may be, although the red-top speculates that if Foster becomes a rip-roaring success, at St Andrews, there may well be a buy back clause to be activated.

Interesting!

Buy back or First Option clause probably. I'd be surprised if we ever saw him in a united shirt again though. He'll probably end up like david james - a very good goalkeeper in his 30s who top clubs wouldnt touch with a barge pole.

To tell u the truth I hope we have seen the last of him.He had his chances but blew it.We got a more than decent amount for him,so all the parties should just move on.

Haha that was a good one Tuscan.

Foster could soon prove to be England keeper and Alex will have that base covered.
SFC Forever
Its the last we'll see of him, no matter what clause.
TheFamousNo7
