United - Capello Praises Rooney!

Away in the Austrian hills, training at altitude in preparation for the 2010 World Cup, Fabio Capello is currently assessing which seven of his initial squad of thirty will face the chop!

One name that will most definitely not be on that list is that of Wayne Rooney!

It is no secret that the country is pinning its hopes on Wayne catapulting us to glory and Fabio is under no illusions as to how prodigious a talent young Wayne is, having commented,

"It`s really important that the other players see that Rooney, one of the best players in the world, wants to stay on the pitch and wants to continue to learn."

"Wayne Rooney is one of the best talents I`ve ever coached."

"He`s a very important player and a big talent. Every time Rooney trains he wants to learn and he always wants to stay on that training pitch for as long as possible."

Sshh! Don`t shout too loud Fabio, Real Madrid might be listening in!

Like I said, fewer quotes and more content would make this a little more pleasant, no offence mate! Cheers!

Real Madrid got Ronaldo theres no way they would get Rooney and is it any surprise Rooney's impressing Capello?

Bit harsh elvido. If its a choice between having relevant news to comment on throughout the day or a couple of lengthy articles once a week - I'd rather have the multiple updates everyday. One of the reasons there are so few United fans here is that compared to VitalChelsea, Arsenal and Spurs we didnt have enough new articles to comment on. Thanks to Red Boy, at least there is something to do here. You only have to look at how many of us are over 100 points compared to normal to see that Red Boys efforts have made quite a big impact. I think he's doing a good job - although I'm wondering if he killed Zae to get the chance.

Point taken Tuscan, i didn't really mean any offence mate, just looking for more material to read!!! About the points, do they tend to reset to zero arbitrarily? seems to have happened a couple of times before or is it that i have never noticed it? I have had similar concerns about Zae though!!! Lol!
