United - Anderson in Benfica Link!

It seems that an injury isn`t enough to remove you from any transfer gossip.

Numerous media outlets have hit on the suggestion that Manchester United may be prepared to offload Anderson this summer in order to tempt a high-flyer to Old Trafford.

According to the news sources, the high-flyer being none other than the highly rated Benfica winger, Angel Di Maria, with Anderson tipped to go the other way in part exchange.

Although other sources vary slightly with Anderson simply being sold to Benfica in order for the cash generated to be used to try and secure the services of Karim Benzema.

With Sir Alex intimating that there would only be one signing this summer, who would you prefer, Benzema or Di Maria?

8 million+Anderson=Di Maria? Does that make Anderson worth 20 million? What a joke. Benfica will be mad to sell fo so less, especially seeing Real Madrid are really interested in signing him.. 25 million would be nothing for them, just some more paperwork for another loan.

I wouldn't want either to tell u the truth.A CM is all that is wanted, once we get a player in that position, then we can look at a striker.

too much emphasis on wide players if you ask me!

I'd take benzema over Di Maria - but neither will solve our problems. I'd keep anderson rather than swap him for either of them - especiallly if they would be our only signing. We need a creative midfielder as a priority over wingers and strikers.

Neither, keep Anderson. I honestly believe he will begin to perform espicially when being played in his more favoured attacking role.

Keep Anderson. Would rather get rid of Carrick or Gibson!

keep anderson but if I had to pick it would be Benzema seeing as we'll have cleverly next year to cover for anderson
