United - Foster on Verge of Departing!

After his recent declaration relating to securing first team football and the subsequent interest shown by Birmingham City, the deal could be concluded very soon.

Various media outlets are running stories that the two clubs have agreed a fee, thought to be somewhere between £4 million and £6 million with Foster due to have a medical sometime today (Tuesday) in Birmingham.

Look out for an official announcement from the clubs!

Its a good deal and good price for everyone involved. Best of luck to him.

Good luck to him, tough that he didn't take his chances when he got them. A good deal too!
elvido
will you rue his departure one day I wonder!
merlin
maybe but life is a gamble is it not?
Red Boy
From England #1 to Birmingham - what a come down!
Al Billy
merlin, you do realise that foster is one year younger than cech dont you? We cant afford to wait 10 years for him to hit his form like david james. Foster was given a fair chance this year because van der sar hardly played and frankly foster was a disappointment. If he turns into the world greatest goalkeeper overnight then yeah we might regret it - but things like that dont tend to happen in real life.
tuscan3000
No regrets, just happy we got a decent price for once!
elvido
I still think that he is a potential England keeper, but this is probably the right move for everyone at a good price.
oxfordspur
He'll probably be england number 2. Joe Hart is younger and probably more talented than foster was at that age. I think Joe Hart will be england number 1 for a LONG time.
