United - Valencia Has Ankle Operation!

Now the season has finished it`s time to get all those niggling injury problems that require going under the scalpel for correction, sorted.

Our Ecuadorian, Antonio Valencia, has recently had an ankle operation to correct an injury and the initial prognosis is that he`s timing his rehabilitation period to coincide with our pre-season fixture schedule.

Here at Vital United we`d like to wish him a speedy recovery because come the start of the 2010/2011 season we`ll need everybody, who we can muster, to be fit!

I just hope that he makes the pre-season tour because it does play a role for any player to build your match fitness and be ready for the season.

This season he has been one of our players of the season alongside Rooney,Fletcher,Evra and Nani too would have had a mention if he had displayed the form that he is in right from the start but hopefully our wingers will continue their progress in the new season.

I agree with Antriksh, he has been one of our better players and a good pre season should be the right rehab!
