United - Hair Removal Cream?

Vanity is such a strange trait!

The desire to improve upon the body that nature gave us drives us to do the strangest of things!

Three years ago we witnessed the sight of a bare-chested Chelsea team, at Ewood Park, celebrating a win and showing of their freshly waxed chests - tarts was the descriptive word we used.

But it seems that could be only the tip of the ice-burg as far as improving the body beautiful goes and here at United we too are culpable of tampering with how nature intended us to be.

In the latest edition of the United magazine, and also picked up on by all the red-tops this morning, is the intriguing tale, told by Brian McClair, of how a former United player chose to remove the body hair surrounding his privates.

Unfortunately, application of the removal cream also succeeded in taking of the top layer of skin which proved to be a painful experience for the un-named player.

So bad was the pain, the player had to seek medical assistance from the clubs medical staff.

Whatever next!

It would never have happened in the days of Best, Charlton and Law would it?
