United - Hargreaves Sharp Exit?

After not having played anywhere near enough football to gatecrash the provisional listing of 30 players Fabio Capello named for the 2010 World Cup, it would appear that Owen Hargreaves created a stir on Sunday.

The press, an din particular the tabloids, are insinuation that Owen was expecting to continue his comeback, after injury, with a thirty minute spell in a United jersey.

The press rumours have it that after not being selected in the eighteen for the fixture, against Stoke, Hargreaves left Old Trafford in a little bit of a hurry.

With the club now insisting he wasn`t selected because of an injury we`d like to know how they intend to further quash the speculation when an onlooker is quoted in the morning press as having remarked,

"At about 03:10pm a member of the security team got into a grey Audi and headed for Gate 4B of the Stretford End."

"The way the car moved, I thought it was one of the Glazers trying to get away. But then Hargreaves appeared and he did not look happy. He didn`t hang about long."

So much for cheering your team mates on then Owen!

Its a baseless story, surely Hargo will be knowing that it is next to impossible for him to be going to the WC on the back of just 1 or 2 appearances, its so silly thinking that reporters will try to make a story out of anything, talk about desperation!

The club claimed he was ill didnt they? Maybe he had the ****s.

I refuse to believe that he could be out for two years and honestly expect to get into the WC squad based on a maximum of 90 minutes worth of club football. This simply cannot be true.
