United - A Tosic Situation?

When the Serbian winger arrived at Old Trafford, the rumour-mill suggested that Sir Alex Ferguson had picked up a little gem.

Sadly, his progress in a United shirt, resembled the little gem sweets rather than a sparkling diamond and Tosic was shipped out on loan to Cologne, in the Bundelsiga.

Since arriving though, the twenty-three year old has led a new lease of life and his performances have seem him labeled the Magic Dwarf by the Cologne support.

Sir Alex though has a decision to make, does he persevere with the Serbian or will he be one of those to go this summer.

As for the view of the aforementioned player, he simply wants it settled one way or the other remarking,

"I want to clarify my situation."

I guess he`ll find out one way or the other this summer!

He has looked a good player whenever I've seen him play for serbia and the reports from germany are that a lot of teams over there are interested in him. I know he is small but he's actually bigger than scholes - so size shouldnt be an issue to him making it at united. When I've seen him play, its usually in the hole behind the striker which is something we've been crying out for. Whilst a modric, silva or hamsik would be nice, it seems strange to spend that kind of money without even giving tosic a chance to show what he can do. If he has a good world cup it'll be a big decision as to whether we cash in or give him a chance.

I'd love to see him given a chance in the premier league before we let him go.

I agree, he should be given a stint with the first team, he has looked good in his loan spell!

It would be a shame for all Utd supporters to see this guy leaving the club without actually getting a proper chance.I hope he still has a future at the club.

Would be weird if we buy a left sided replacement without giving the boy a string of games, he doesn't look THAT hopeless!
