United - Foster On Leaving?

The grapevine is of the opinion that Ben Foster and Manchester United could be on the verge of parting company.

The media seem convinced that Ben will be one of those sold off this summer to finance the signing of others.

Naturally, Ben has deep feelings for this club of ours and has spoken about the prospect, in a very truthful and forthright manner, commenting,

"You never want to leave Manchester United."

"If you leave this club you are only ever going to go down but I want to be playing football."

"I am not interested in just hanging around and I would go if the club wanted to sell me. If they are happy to accept a bid then you have to read between the lines and realise you are not really needed and move on. It would not be the end of the world for me."

We`d imagine that there would be no shortage of takers for Ben but as to a likely destination, any guesses?

Hope it's not a bargain and we actually get a good deal if we are selling him!!

must be a very hard decision for Ben, but sadly for him it is the right one as he needs first team football, irrespective of the drop in level. There has been talk of Spurs being interested, but again with Gomes at the club he wouldnt be anything more than a back up. Arsenal could do far worse that look to buy him, but the fact he's english is an obvious downside for wenger. I imagine ben will have to look at the likes of Birmingham, respectable, but mid table.

Still better than Flappianski or Almunia!
