United - Van der Sar Hopes and Hopes!

United - Van der Sar Hopes and Hopes!

I can`t help thinking what the atmosphere at Old Trafford will be like on Sunday!

Will it all be a bit flat or will it be buoyant hoping that our near-neighbours Wigan can pull something out of the bag?

Being a point behind puts us at a big disadvantage, Chelsea eve have the added bonus of a far superior goal difference for us to overcome, although our gut reaction is that goal difference will not come into the equation.

Nevertheless, Old Trafford will be packed on Sunday and those inside will be hoping that United can finish the season with a win.

Speaking about our title chances, Edwin Van der Sar explained,

"You want to grab every little chance there is."

"It`s going to be hard, difficult and not likely."

"But we have to make sure we work till the end. It would`ve been nice if we were a point ahead."

"We have to keep going to see what we can do this week on the training ground."

"We have to see if everybody has recovered from this match and hopefully they have a nice game for our supporters on Sunday. We`re still hanging in there."

We sure are hoping that plucky Wigan can do us the ultimate favour!

Well, you can't exactly expect him to say we are done! Wouldn't be crossing any fingers though!

I am not even hoping to tell u the truth, its just a bit too much for Wigan to do it away from home but as I have said before I am still proud of our boys even if we don't win it.
