Rio, Brown Fit, Hargreaves Injured Again

Rio, Brown Fit, Hargreaves Injured Again

Apart from the long-term absentees - Michael Owen, Anderson and Owen Hargreaves who picked up a calf injury and is ruled out - everyone is fit and ready to take on Tottenham Hotspur in tomorrow's morning kick-off.

Rio Ferdinand has recovered from a groin problem that, according to experts, can be related to his troublesome back. Wes Brown is available again after a lengthy absence but his lack of match fitness means he's an outside to even make the bench against Spurs.

Wayne Rooney has been training all week and he's in fine condition, ready to be unleashed after a less than convincing showing against Manchester City. Dimitar Berbatov will probably have to settle for a bench role again.

However, the City win has lifted the entire squad and everyone is in buoyant mood, according to Sir Alex so we should be able to beat Tottenham, even though they're in fine form.

I am thinking that it has a draw written all over it, both teams want it too much

Or an open game with goals! And Hargreaves picked up a calf injury doing what?! If he does not play in the pre-season, we may as well pitch in for a send off.

I'd rather evans start he did well last week and rio hasn't really been in inspiring form before his injury.

This season may be our biggest chance of winning at OT. Maybe it will get even bigger next year, if you do a similar transfer window to last year (selling two of the worlds best players), and we continue improving. Anyway, lets hope for a good game, and that the ref will not be centre of the media afterwards!

No Rooney, No Rio and Hargreaves is on the bench. If there was an award for the worst team news preview ever - this would be up there! ;)

As someone form the North West, it seems a shame to have to say it but come on Spurs, come on Chelsea, for the sake of the game.

Spurs should still get 4th - they are a really good side - not as good as their fans might think they are - but still very good.
