2-1 in our favour.Fletcher and Berba to get the goals.
Antriksh (abmtd)
1-0 to chelsea or 4-3 to us
Reddevils4ever89
If offered a draw today i'd snatch you're hand off! Chelsea have really responded to getting knocked out of Europe and have had a weeks rest, they're a very good side with a very good manager who has a very good record against us! They're cannot be any Rooney excuses either as they have alot of injuries also but if we take a point i fancy us to scrape our way to the title but if we loose, the momentum is with Chelsea and the confidence they will get if they beat us will see them snatch it back from us.. imo!!! I'll settle for a boring 0-0 as I really don't see where a goal will come from us!!!
java
Bad news guys.. First goal for Chelsea. Joe Cole.. Bad defending
Born_as_Devil
The problem we have is a lack of goal threat. We're not big enough to beat them in the air with any consistency, not skilfull enough to play through them and they're sitting to deep for us to counter them. Hope Fergie has more ideas for the second half than me.
tuscan3000
So who says decisions go our way all time at OT?
Drogba BLATANT offside - but I must say that 2 pens should have been given - but we DID NOT deserve to lose that at all....
niteworlok
We did ok in the second half, but not sure we really deserved more than we got. The title race isnt over, but its chelseas to throw away now.
tuscan3000
well we will need to win all our games now i think and i cant see us doing that tbh especially without rooney. we need to beat bayern now
Reddevils4ever89
We're capable of winning the rest of our games. Other teams wont be able to put 10 men behind the ball with the same quality as chelsea. Even if they do they wont have their quality at the other end either. We're relying on spurs and liverpool to do something - which is kind of like relying on rain to survive in the sahara.

Good game lads.

First of all congrats to chelsea on their win, before talking about the decisions I just feel we set up pretty defensively,I was shocked to see Nani not starting against P.Ferreira and atleast at Old Trafford,I just hope we play with 2 strikers, our performance was really poor in the first half,a carbon copy of bayern and in the second we were better but still nothing like we would hope for,it was only when Nani and Macheda came on that we looked far better.
Antriksh (abmtd)
Also you could sense the freshness in the chelsea's squad compared to our's,I just feel the likes of giggsy, scholesy for sure and gary as well require some rest.Playing in the CL as well as the PL is surely taking its toll on them,we have to freshen up our team, give Macheda,Rafael and may be even Gibson a chance,I would be very surprised to see Neville and Scholes starting against Bayern.
Antriksh (abmtd)
Also its just a shame that we have to again speak about the ref and his linesman again, they were a ******** disgrace, its decisions like these that can cost teams a lot and thats why technology is so important.
Antriksh (abmtd)
Now thinking about this game will only raise my blood pressure,so looking forward to Bayern,I am very confident that they will score a goal with all their big players back and fit,so it means that we will have to attack. My team would be-VDS,Rafael,Rio,Vidic,Evra,Valencia,Fletcher,Carrick,Nani,Berbatov,Macheda.I hope we will be a lot more positive than we were in Bayern. Not that 4-5-1 again at Old Trafford.
Antriksh (abmtd)
Whoa, who would've thought there was so much activity here! :) Anyway, good game fellas. Hope Rooney takes his own time to return.. :)
JT_daniel
Nice to see you lots taking defeat graciously. I hope we win the league now. Arsenal winning the league would be worst thing that can happen to PL.
Keyser Soze
Keyser atleast Arsenal winning it would prove that a well run club can win the title without spending 700 million pounds. Which is what Chelsea have spent till now for 2 league titles. Much rather an old establishment club like Man U (rinces mouth out) wins it than the Chavs!
Deltaforce
Sorry girls, must be painful for you to not have the backing of the G14 anymore. Welcome to reality.
Blue is the colour
delta shut the **** up and go chat about your 1 billion debt club.

DF, its a Manu thread so its not appropriate for us to start a debate here. Since we started I would just say .... why Arse winning title is bad?? Bcoz of you whinning girly fans and that voyeur make too much noise for nothing. You people are worst bunch (not all but most) of fans any sports team can have. You claim to play beautiful football, but that is only you claim. I would say you play ineffective football. You claim your club is well run...yah it is well run economically but not on football field. Most important thing is you gotta learn, history does not entitle you success. As long as we keep on thrashing you lot 3-0, 4-1 at your home (3rd home, this is some history).....we would consider 700 million pound well spent.
Keyser Soze
TOOK THE WORDS RIGHT OUTTA MA MOUTH!! KEYSER SOZE!! VERY SOON WE WILL HAVE BENDTNER AND WALCOTT MOUTHING OFF TOO!!
dozzy
Drogba was miles offside for his goal - bizarre decision from the linesman. However, Macheda made Thierry Henry look like a saint with the goal he virtually pushed into the net, so a fairer scoreline would have been 1-0 to Chelsea. On the first half performance Man U didn't deserve anything out of this game, by the second half it was too little too late. Looks like your pensioners are starting to run out of steam and Fergie doesn't yet trust your younger players in matches like this. At least you've got the Carling Cup, as on that evidence that's the only thing you will win this season.
fifthcolumnblue
Well 5th, glas to see ya pop in here - anyhoo, season aint over yet, and I for sure will be sshouting up in the Stretfird End come this Wednesday
