We Might, Just Might, Have A Title Race Here

This football thing is so cruel. Every time I manage to convince myself to give up on hoping for an unprecedented and unexpected fourth league title, United come out with a brilliant display and Chelsea drop points.

I watched them in action at Hull, dejectedly hoping for a convincing win. What I got instead was a showing as bad as any of our disasters this season (Leeds, Fulham, Besiktas, you name it). And there's a Chelsea v Arsenal round the corner, with only two points separating us and Chelsea...

You know, I've already figured out how this sick thing called fate will screw us again. We'll be going into this weekend with great hopes, dizzy with anticipation - and then we'll crush to Portsmouth at home in the biggest shock of the league season then Chelsea will steamroller Arsenal 5-0.

Otherwise, we might, just might, have a title race here.

I bet we draw or lose 1-0 to pompey, then chelsea win and end up 4/5 points ahead anyway.

You're talking like a Spurs fan Zae! Such pessimism should only exist after years of disappointment!

The title race is really tight this season but only because the top teams are playing so badly. The last few seasons it has been a two horse race between United and Chelsea, however if Arsenal manage to win this week, they could be straight back in to the race.

Well if we play as poorly as we did against your lot we are going to get well and truly bent over by Chelsea on Sunday - if Wenger tears a strip of the lads and we do the basics right we've got a good chance. Then it's on!
