'If It's Football, It's Vital'

When, Not If, City Reach Wembley...

Manchester City chief executive Garry Cook managed the admittedly simple feat of making himself look like a total idiot. When presented with a microphone in the States last week he just could not resist coming out with some giddy overconfident pep talk which somewhat backfired on him...

"This football club will be without doubt the biggest and best in the world. People don`t like to hear it but I`ll make no excuses for saying it, and I will never stop saying it because I truly believe it with the resources and capabilities that we have - and when, not if, we`re at Wembley having beaten Man United yet again!"

Yet again, huh? Yesterday night was the fifth game in a row in which United thoroughly outplayed City so this yet again business seemed a mite unwise. You know, apparently, it merely helped to fire up our players.

The press is full of predictions that City will grow and one day take on us as equals or superiors. Media workers seem a little bitter that their fairy tale did not come off as hoped: tiny little Citeh could not overcome the odds and knock the big bad giant out - so they're clinging on to the hope that sooner or later they will resemble a proper football team if they spend another hundreds of millions.

But they really should know better. Anyone who watched Liverpool this season will know that simply spending a lot of money on a lot of players (oh, come on, we all know that Liverpool spent more than any other club except Chelsea since Benitez' arrival) will get you nowhere...

You know what makes me laugh - those City scum aint come in here in their droves like they normally do - I love going in there and winding them up, and their forum is full of crap topics lol - just like Manchester City FC
niteworlok
Crap topics on VMC eh? Our site definitely has nothing on this one for biased propaganda and general garbage. Its also nice to see niteworlok showing his true colours today, it was a thought too good to be true that there was actually a decent rag in the world!

Oh I'm sure we'll get to see them at Wembley one of these years. Let's be nice...

Yea khoder but chelsea were a big enough club before the roman millions came in unlike citeh.
blueogre
