Agüero Blunder: Technical Glitch Or Transfer Info?

The Sun had a field day with a United blunder again: apparently, a profile screen was created on the official website for Atlético Madrid's Sergio Agüero. Now this can be interpreted in two different ways.

First, that this is a leak, that United actually have an agreement with Atletico Madrid and started to create the profile for their new acquisition but someone screwed up and it appeared prematurely.

Or you can accept the club's explanation, quoted by the Sun, that it was merely a technical anomaly. Probably someone was fooling around or running some kind of test, who knows?

Unfortunately anyone who saw a financial report on United - in other words, anyone who clicked on a football website in the last two weeks - will know that the latter is a significantly more likely explanation. I would estimate that the first version has a chance of about 0.0001 percent.

i hope it is a glitch, he would be a waste of money. so overrated, we need someone who can finish regularly not another tevez or berba

17 goals in 20 games - Tevez can finish mate, it's just that fergie couldn't figure out where to play him to his best. God you lot are bitter about the little argie wonder aren't you? And for what it's worth, you're correct - you can't afford Aguerro without going overdrawn.

btw guys i have seen aguerro play and when motivated that guy is much better than tevez....i remember last year i was comparing him and tevez in the way they play and i emember wishing that we could switch the two.... despite the all the bonds getting sold...i don't see us getting a high profile player like him...we will probably do an arsene thing and kidnap kids

@fifth: i said & berba, nothing personal :S when he was here he was an average finisher, no doubt about it. he is doing well at city cause he is the focal point

Obviously someone was just fooling around, I would be really disappointed if we did actually spend so much money on a player like aguero considering the det we are in, it would be downright irresponsible.

I think a similar thing happened on the everton website a few years back. I hope its a mistake as the last thing we need is another striker that plays in the hole. If we sign a high profile striker it needs to be one that leads the line and creates room for rooney.
