Fergie: City Have More To Lose

Sir Alex believes that tonight's game is more important for City than for United. The Carling Cup semi-final first leg will take place at Wastelands tonight and it's gearing up to be another classic.

'A semi-final against United when they haven't been in a final for so long is the biggest motivation City could have so far this season,' Sir Alex said.

'So it's a bigger, more important game for them than us. It's a game for the fans and their emotions.'

Yes, this is their one big chance to finally get one over us in a game that actually means something for BOTH sides. If they pass it up again, after all their cocky and laughable giddiness this week and the last... well, that would be hilarious.

Wrong. Fergie is wrong again. Even if Man City lost the Carling Cup, they still have FA Cup to play for. They have "2 shots" to win something. This is "just another game" for them. Not to mention they still have "mathematical chance" for the PL title. But Man Utd will have FA Cup defeat at "Theater of Loan Dream" to rue for the rest of the season. lol

The fact that the last SEVEN articles over on vital man sourty have been about you lot shows just how much this means to the little fellas. hundreds upon hundreds of millions spent all to get a woody over a CC semi lol.
nikolaijns
nikolaijns. Wrong again. Million spent is for the future. It is still better that using BIG loan to spend. lol
windleaf
lol no it's not windy don't kid yourself, it's for the now. If it was for the future you'd make sure someone like Robinho wanted to play long term for you before lashing 32,000,000 on him, not that he had his heart set on Chelski his much preferred destination. Or Adebayor who on the eve of his city move was frantically ordering his agent to tramp him out to manure and the chelsk. Nothing you have spent is with any plan or clue for future teambuilding, it's just lashing out the max on whoevers head you can turn. Like an inebriated lotto chav in the red light district. Oi Kakaaaa bleurgghhh heres a hundred mill love now come 'ere and put this on and give me that wholesome lord loving smile. wooooorrrrggggghhhhh look at my wad!

nikola run back to your little site you TIT
bluemooner_mcfc
Niko - you seem to have developed a bit of an obsession on all things Man City. I notice you also seem to believe everything you read in the tabloids, tut tut.
Bluedub
I can't wait for the game to start.Another 5 hours to go.

as a villa fan, i'd personally much rather play united in the final (should we make it). i just couldn't take the possibility of gareth barry putting one over on us at wembley/i think we'd have more of a chance to do united over. but it is shaping up to be a beautiful thing for the neutral, and i can't wait. best of luck to both sides, although ultimately, i'd prefer the red half to be happy tonight :)
benji_starsky_avfc
lol er yeah bluedub, you another one? u seriously just put something about a man u fan being obsessed with city hahaha pot kettle n all that
fearless
He seeks us here, he seeks us there, Nikolaijns seeks out all things City everywhere. Getting to be a bit of an obsession, don'tcha think?
BlueWolfie
I haven't written SEVEN articles on you muppets though to be fair. That's obsession. Having an 8 page thread on your forum about a poster like myself - that's obsession! @ fearless I'm a gooner -maybe a clue in the fact I used the term manure lol.
nikolaijns
Evening niko, not got the cojones to diss us on our own site, so you come to the rag's site instead? What a hoot! Just out of interest, how many articles about Manchester City are there on the front page of vital man u? It's a derby game mate, we are going to talk about it. Not that your site ever mentions tottenham, oh no, never, expecially not in the run up to a derby game.
fifthcolumnblue
