Berbatov's Knee Is OK, Giggs Is Doubtful

Dimitar Berbatov's knee injury has NOT flared up again, contrary to initial fears. The Bulgarian limped off not long after opening the scoring against Burnley on Saturday but he only had a dead leg according to Sir Alex.

'I thought Dimitar had got a knock on the knee,' he said ahead of Tuesday's Carling Cup semi-final first leg at Manchester City.

'It turned out it was a dead leg. We are having a look at that at the moment. I am hoping he will be all right but we will see what he is like in the morning.

'He is one doubt. Ryan is another because he missed Saturday's game. We have to give him time to recover a bit. All the rest are fit.'

With the exception of Owen Hargreaves and Rio Ferdinand. The latter is getting ever closer, according to Fergie, but not in contention for Tuesday. No word about Vidic but he's thought to be fit and available now.

Hi guys. Does anybody know the latest on Owen Hargreaves injury and comeback? I have the same injury, and know how 50/50 the surgery can be. I am hoping he is succssful - but hold a doubt in my mind.
