United's Terrified Hero

United's Terrified Hero

Wayne Rooney scored one and provided two goals as United beat Hull City 3-1 at the KC Stadium this afternoon. He also made a terrible mistake with a backpass which led to Hull's equaliser (although they needed Wiley's good heart to award a penalty that was dodgy to say the very least). He admitted afterwards that fear inspired him after his error.

'It wasn`t a nice feeling when I made the mistake and I was certainly scared of what the manager might say. Thankfully, we managed to recover and get the goals we needed to win.`

Fergie said that the backpass had been Rooney's only mistake today which is generous but not true - though I expect he says this only in public while in private they will go through the errors of Rooney's afternoon. But though he wasn't at his best he still proved capable to be a matchwinner - which is what is expected of him.

With every game i watch Utd I think getting £30.75million + Campbell on Loan for that inconsistant Bulgarian lazy sack of ***** feels better and better.
