Bring On Leeds!

Bring On Leeds!

Normally I would love a non-league team to make the third round at the expense of the League One promotion favourites but I was overjoyed last night when I saw that Leeds United beat Kettering 5-1 after extra time to set up a third round meeting with Manchester United at Old Trafford.

It's a shame the game is not at Elland Road: it would be even more satisfying to do them in front of their own vile fans. But at least we get to meet them again: beating Leeds is something I miss very much. And we have reasons to be angry with them: they stopped producing great players for us. Cantona, Irwin, Ferdinand all became world-class here but since the transfer of Alan Smith our little feeder club has not been doing its job well.

This January promises to be fun: cup clashes with Leeds and Manchester Citeh? Bring them on!

Its a shame that the EPL doesn't have the likes of newcastle, leeds anymore. They both had passionate fans which would only add to the beauty of the EPL.Hopefully we will have the magpies next season.
