Man Utd In Tug Of War With Gunners

Looks like another tug of war is looming with Man Utd and Arsenal chasing the same signature. This time the links are to St Etienne midfielder Didier Zokora. The Ivory Coast international's agent Franck Belhassen is quoted in the News of the World saying: 'Arsenal are watching Didier very closely. They will be in for him when St Etienne decide to sell. It will definitely be next summer. It is well known United have also expressed their desire to take Didier. To have that choice makes us very happy.'

The agent added: 'You can never rule anything out and St Etienne's president told me everyone is for sale at the right price. Chelsea contacted me in the summer when they were having difficulties with signing Michael Essien from Lyon and I know they're still interested in Didier. But I know it will be a decision between Arsenal and United.'

Hmm, all sounds like an agent trying to get his player a move to me. Time will tell.
