Giggs Thanks Rain For Help

Giggs Thanks Rain For Help

Apparently, rain helped Manchester United's passing today. If only it poured down on Rome back in May... But the old genius admitted we weren't very good in the first half.

"The rain helped. It made the pitch a lot quicker and we were much slicker with our passing. Just after half time we created chances, and soon after that Wayne managed to score. It was the perfect start.

"After that the goals came at good times, two quick goals and then we were able to be more confident on the ball."

Wow, the rain actually helped a team play a good passing game. Barcelona players would faint if they heard that. But we have to believe Giggs, such was the difference in the quality of United's performance between the two halves of football.
