Rooney: It's Amazing To Score A Hat-Trick

Wayne Rooney scored the third hat-trick of his United career but he'll probably forgive me if I say this wasn't as good as the previous ones as two of the goals were penalties and he won only one of the spotkicks. However, he's obviously delighted.

'Of course, taking penalties, my tally should be a lot higher,' he told MUTV.

'Thankfully I've scored two of them today. It's a great feeling to score a hat-trick, an amazing feeling.'

It's 11 goals for Rooney this season so he's well on course to beat his previous record tally of 23 which he was referring to in his opening sentence. Hopefully, he'll avoid long-term injuries this season as his form has been generally excellent ever since August, with only a few hiccups on the way.

If rooney can bag 30 goals this year and go into the world cup feeling fit and confident, I'll be a happy man.

He can do it if he stays away from injuries and with games coming in thick and fast over the next month, its very important for our strikers to get the taste of scoring.

if he can score as often for england as much as he can for england i will be a proud man

hopefully not kimbo!!!

hopefully the form continues but if previous rooney form is anything to go by, he probably wont score for a month and start scoring again in bursts as he always does. I can't wait for the day that Rooney becomes a consistent goalscorer
