The impromptu, and somewhat unexpected, announcement was made prior to Saturday's clash with Blackburn by Addicks chairman Richard Murray who revealed Curbishley was to step down.

Time to fill your boots lads, I expect you to clinch 2nd spot with a thumping of Charlton

I'd like to think that you'd be at least 3-0 up at half time, and that the news filters through to Fratton park. But, to be serious for a momnet, I'm sure they will be up for it with AC's last game, i think you should be able to wear them down and get a couple of goals in the last 10 mins to secure second spot in the league.
