Charlton In Turmoil

United play Charlton at Old Trafford on Sunday for the final game of the season. The London club are in turmoil, having confirmed Alan Curbishley will leave the club at the end of the season - but the manager insists he will not be taking charge of England.

The impromptu, and somewhat unexpected, announcement was made prior to Saturday's clash with Blackburn by Addicks chairman Richard Murray who revealed Curbishley was to step down.

Curbishley: 'It's nothing to do with any outside influences whatsoever - I don't think I was ever in the running (for the job).'

I'd like to think that you'd be at least 3-0 up at half time, and that the news filters through to Fratton park. But, to be serious for a momnet, I'm sure they will be up for it with AC's last game, i think you should be able to wear them down and get a couple of goals in the last 10 mins to secure second spot in the league.
