'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Welcome, Kai Wayne Rooney!

Wayne Rooney may miss tomorrow's Champions League game against CSKA Moscow as his wife Coleen has given birth to their first son, Kai Wayne Rooney.

The baby and his mother are absolutely fine, according to a spokesman and it will hopefully have an uplifting effect on Wayne Rooney. Several players, Ryan Giggs included, talked in the past about how different it is to play as a father and most believe it does have a beneficial effect. Although they might have said that only to please their wives!

Welcome, little Kai, hopefully you inherited your father's talent. And of course congratulations to Wayne - I must admit it's weird to imagine him as a father.

haha One United 92. Congratulations wayne and colleen, i think they'll make great parents and come 2025... well you never know about Kai. Rooney was back to nearing his best against Blackburn so hopefully this will improve his performances even further and give him that final lift into maturity that he's been moving towards in recent times. This could be just what Rooney needed to make him the best in the world.

Will Kai be the best or will he be Callum Best? Only time will tell. Let's just hope he inherits his mother's looks eh? ;)

I do actually quite like Rooney and his Mrs as people and congratulate them. Awful name Kai though.
