Saha And Van Nistelrooy Together?

Sir Alex Ferguson could pair Ruud van Nistelrooy and Louis Saha in attack against Middlesbrough on Monday.

It is a 'must win' fixture as United try and hold off Liverpool for that Premiership second place.

Obviously Wayne Rooney is definitely missing following the injury he picked up in Saturday's defeat at Chelsea. So Ferguson could choose both the men who have been vying for a place in United's starting line-up recently.

Mikael Silvestre had another poor game on Saturday and is facing the axe. Gabriel Heinze is available after a minor groin strain and the Argentinian could start, although Patrice Evra is also a possibility in the left-back role.

Manchester United (from): Van der Sar, Howard, Neville, Ferdinand, Brown, Vidic, Pique, Silvestre, Heinze, Evra, Ronaldo, Giggs, O'Shea, Richardson, Park, Saha, Van Nistelrooy, Rossi.

its not exactly the worst paring you could have been left with to end the season but i suppose it doesnt matter as youve only got second place to play for

More like third place to play for if they dont win. And i think that 3rd place means a qualifying game, doesn't it?
