Rafael Draws The Benefits Of Having A Twin Brother

Rafael Draws The Benefits Of Having A Twin Brother

Fabio da Silva got a yellow card on Tuesday night, as United won 2-0 at Barnsley. However, he should never have been booked: the foul was actually committed by his twin brother Rafael.

It was the first time the twins both started a competitive game for United but it's already clear they will cause plenty of confusion for referees. United appealed to the FA to get the card rescinded and given to Rafael instead, because of mistaken identity and it's fairly sure it'll happen as it's perfectly clear on the footage that it's actually Rafael committing the foul.

Chris Foy might point to the twins' identical features as the reason for his confusion but don't footballers have numbers on the back and on the shorts as well?

Well if one gets suspended we can still play him and just leave the other at home. It's not as if anybody will notice.
