Man Utd Battle For Ballack?

Looks like Manchester United might have a battle on their hands if the reported links to Bayern Munich's Michael Ballack are true. It appears that AC Milan have joined a long list of potential suitors for the German midfielder.

Utd have been linked with Ballack for a few seasons and with Ferguson desperate to re-build his team, the tough player could prove ideal. However Ferguson will have to use all his powers to bring the player to Old Trafford with AC Milan, Inter Milan and of course, Real Madrid (who aren't they linked with?!) all being linked.

Reports suggest the 29 year old is considering his options as his contract runs out next season and he could secure himself a very lucrative move. He hasn't ruled out signing a new deal at Bayern either.

Inter might just have sneaked into the lead for his signature following a reported meeting between director Gabriele Oriali, Bayern President Karl-Heinz Rumenigge and his agent Michael Becker.
