'If It's Football, It's Vital'

VdS: Moscow Seems A Lifetime Away

Edwin van der Sar is back, hopefully injecting some much-needed confidence into a somewhat shaky back four. United's number one will make his second start of the season in Moscow where his save from Anelka's penalty gave United our third European Cup win.

'Of course, I'm looking forward to it,' he admitted when questioned about revisiting the venue on Wednesday when United take on CSKA in the Champions League group stages.

'It was a great night and it's not so long ago, but it feels like a lifetime already.'

Yes, it's amazing how many things have happened since then. We won another league title, reached another European Cup final, sold the best player in the world for a ridiculous price a year after he had unforgiveably taken off the gloss of our glorious Double with his antics during the Real Madrid saga.

But it was only one and a half year ago and many of us will probably recognize immediately the goal in which Van der Sar performed that save, to keep out Anelka... we might even forget about the CSKA game for a while.

Well you could have won the cup but JT f*c'd it up! The you have anelkas poor excuse on why he can't take a penalty. £200 + million spent and no Champions League. Is that better my chelki wizard ;-)
