Hargreaves Will Start Training Next Week

Hargreaves Will Start Training Next Week

United might, just might be able to call on Owen Hargreaves a month from now. It seems incredible but Sir Alex insists the player is doing fine with rehab and is almost ready to start proper training after more than a year on the sidelines.

"He`s working with the physio that was with him in America and our own physios, and he is doing very well, we`re really pleased," he said.

'He`s delighted to be back, obviously. It`s been a long time for the kid. I think we`ll get him into football training in 10 days' time.

'Then, depending how well he does with that, he should be back for the beginning of November, I`d hope.'

Let's not get too excited though - I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if his first outing actually came in January. Fingers crossed he'll be back soon, we need him.

Now this is some of the best news to come out of OT this week - and good news for England - saying that though will he find it hard getting into the team as Anderson, Carrick, Giggsy, Fletcher, and Scholes are playing so well????
