What a surprise another bitter anti-United fan just itching to post on our boards. The game got the result it deserved. End of.

Well Ive been winding City wannabies up all day after the match - and boy did I get some grief in their threads - so here it is....

good one for the neutral, must admit I always love seeing Mark Hughes upset, not a big fan of the guy! Does remind me when Villa came 2nd to Man Utd in the 1st PL season though, think a statitician worked out Man Utd had played around 40 mins more than us!!!!!!!!!!!!

in fairness, from the neutral perspective of an aston villa fan, i feel the results is totally justified although the "added time" was certainly questionable. city, face it, you were HANDED all three of the goals you scored - even bellamy's cracker came from a poor header from evra to barry, losing possession in his own half. i know it hurts when united do that to you, but they did it to villa last season with some very questionable "added time". although, I felt villa had done enough to win that match or at least get a point. city never really bothered united that much. all in all - great game. cannot wait for this season to unwind.

Ok we deserved the game, espicially during the second half in which Man City was non-existant and truthfully it appeared only two players really turned up, Bellamy and Given. Tevez and Barry where perhaps a threat for five minutes then they died off. City can't deny the goals where handed to them on a plate: Poor keeping from Foster for the first Poor header from Evra and now closing down for the second Once again poor defending and keeping and some complacency from Ferdinand. The extra-time is completely justified, it is in balance of both teams to score and concede and it is a minimum (for those that still struggle to understand it, get a dictionary and look up the term) also when you take into consideration the celebration and subs the continuous freekicks and corners it adds up to be correct. If you don't like it, it's a shame go crying somewhere else as it is boring listening to the constant whining you can't do nothing about it so next time just make sure you beat us, however unlikely (a bit confident i know).

Ok now i'm going to post with my view on the match. Firstly i don't have a clue what was wrong with Foster, he can appear indestructible at times and look like he's not going to concede and then out of nowhere he appears fragile and a bundle of nerves. My second thought is whether it was complacency or Ferdinand just being an idiot either way it was a silly goal to concede which Ferdinand shouldn't of given to them so easily and which Foster should've saved, but in all fairness it was a good finish. Second goal and perhaps the most deserved, one great finish, but pressure in my opinion should've been put on alot earlier. In future we've got to aviod these silly defensive errors. Attackingly we were great although i wasn't to pleased with Parks performance in addition i believe we should only play 1 of Giggs or Park not both at the same time. Fletcher was amazing Rooney done well and i thought Berby done well but was unfortunate to get a goal and i was disappointed that we couldn't capitalize more on City's poor defensive performance, but hey we created the chance's and took them well and were just unfortunate. Owen's amazing finish sealed i game we deserved in the first place and i'm happy for Owen.

They may have handed us 3 goals but we handed them 4. So much for the noisy neighbour crap as the stereo is about to be turned up to an altogether higher level from now on!
