'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tevez? Who The... Hell Is Tevez?

Sir Alex has often been accused of playing mind games. But for once I believe he's telling the truth when insisting that he's not bothered whether Carlos Tevez plays on Sunday or not.

The Argentinian is struggling with an injury but has a chance of featuring at Old Trafford where he'll probably be mercilessly booed for acting like the absolute twat he is since he's left. Not that he expects it... but it's another story.

'I am not bothered whether Tevez plays or not. City's best player won't be playing.

'Adebayor is their star player, there is no question about that.'

And he's hardly an irresistible player... And yes, Tevez's behaviour was disgraceful but the most important thing is he's not such a good footballer that we should worry about him. Is he better than Craig Bellamy? He's more effective because of his workrate but that's all...

Bitter...
Aamir
He's quite clearly a better player than Bellamy by some distance.
EvertonMike
How can u guys talk so badly about a man that literally was the first line of defense and his pit bull style play and pressure on the ball helped you win trophies?
iwearblue
Oh dear oh dear. I have a feeling this article might just receive a few replies....
Tudor
I hope he doesn't play. The victory will be all the sweeter without our 3 main forwards.
MCFC_Goatboy
Taggart can go and blow it out of his arse the stupid old git!
Tudor
In fairness to SAF Tudor I'd say Adebayor is a better player than Tevez, and probably your best player. The comments be the guy who wrote this article are ridiculous though
EvertonMike
Hmmm No comment!
mark.mcfc.wedged
He's a bloke that you couldn't afford Ferguson, despite that weak effort at making a bid we all know that you haven't got the money!

Everyone likes to OVERRATE Tevez's abilities because he likes to run around like a madman but forget his goal return is tragic for a 'striker'! Dirk Kuyt likes to run around like a madman too but he actually scores goals and he's a winger. So what makes Tevez any good? He's an Argie? He comes from a country on the same continent as Brazil? Every United fan appreciated Tevez's workrate but for a player who gets 5 goals a season, he simply was not worth that kind of money.

FU: Anyone who likes to CAPITALIZE words they find important like OVERRATE is generally an idiot, because they don't realize how stupid or lame comments like that come across. We wouldn't have seen your point had you not emphasized it for us? Or your argument can be summarized by one capitalized word? Pretty juvenile.
americancitynut
No Man U fan will deny what Tevez did for the club, especially me, but in all truthfulness all of you are blinded by his amazing workrate. The bottomline of this whole thing we need a goalscorer Tevez isnt one, he lacks half the quialities Berbatov and Rooney possess so where would the logic be in paying near the same price that we spent for Rooney for a player with perhaps half the talent? No Owen isnt as good as Tevez (in my opinion) but he does have one quality the Tevez doesnt, he's able to score goals (although he hasnt shown it yet his record backs up the fact) and he didnt cost us a thing. And is Fergie wrong? Think for a minute who has been more of a threat Adebayor or Tevez? And for the idiot who said we couldnt afford let me reimind you of the 80 million we got for Ronaldo which was all given for Fergie to use on transfers he decided not to, so unless you know as a fact that Fergie didnt get the moment keep your mouth shut, or your hands off the keyboard and try not too tell us what we have and haven't got in terms of money.

Sorry for the occassional poor grammar and poor spelling but this whole argument is pointless and now quiet boring.
One United 92
Bitter, smacks of bitterness. Especially that last line! 'He's more effective because of his workrate but that's all...'
JT_daniel
I was gutted he didnt sign for us - but hes not a great player - his workrate is one of the best but he doesnt score enough goals
His comments made about SAF and Utd have angered a lot of Utd fans - thats why we are bitter - not that he signed for a club of NO HOPERS
niteworlok
Any supporter regardless of the club he supports, would treat Tevez the same way we do after his actions in speaking tosh against Fergie and joining a rival club. Anybody calling us bitter and other asinine comments need to take a look in the mirror because none of you would do any different. This is Football and thats the way it is. The reason we didn't sign Tevez that 8 yard sitter he missed should speak volumes, it happened a lot when he put on the red shirt I'm glad he can do it for you now in blue.
NotoriousRedDevil
He's the player who you *****ed off by not making a bid until right at the end of his 2 year loan spell who by the end of this time decided that he wanted to play elsewhere.
