Hargreaves Might Play In CL Group Stage

Hargreaves Might Play In CL Group Stage

It looks like that Owen Hargreaves will return at some point before December as he's been included in United's Champions League squad. There wouldn't be much point to doing that if he couldn't make at least the last two or three games of the group stage.

My optimistic scenario is that he'll be back playing by the time we play CSKA Moscow at Old Trafford - that will be on November 3. If he could play in that game it would be fabulous and it's not irrealistic: after all, he'll be back at the club by September 23.

Let's hope against hope that this time he will make through the season without problems. Little chance, I know, but we've got to cling on to something. And it will be terribly good to hear Fergie saying that having Hargreaves back is as good as a new signing, which he'll almost certainly say at some point.

See, this is exactly why Bayern Munich sold Hargreaves.
