No Fresh Injuries, Only Nagging Doubts For United

United are preparing for the first big clash of the season without several key players - but at least nobody picked up a fresh injury in the last week.

Arsenal visit Old Trafford tomorrow and while Rio Ferdinand, Owen Hargreaves, Edwin van der Sar, Rafael da Silva and Gabriel Obertan are still out, Fergie might be able to count on Wes Brown, Gary Neville and Jonny Evans.

I very much hope Evans will indeed be fit because seeing Brown in the centre of the defence is never a reassuring sight, even though he did magnificently there when we knocked out Barcelona in the Champions League semi-finals in 2008.

Everyone is fit in midfield and all three strikers are ready to be unleashed upon Arsenal - obviously, Michael Owen is expected to make the bench only. It will be interesting to see whether Fergie opts for Nani or Park on the left as I assume Antonio Valencia won't be left out, not now that Sir Alex admitted dropping him for the Burnley game had been a mistake.

Predicted starting line-up:

oster - O'Shea, Evans, Vidic, Evra - Valencia, Carrick, Fletcher, Park - Rooney, Berbatov

I'd prefer Nani personally.
