Fergie Will Adjust Tactics For More Goals

Sir Alex Ferguson believes United can cope with the loss of Cristiano Ronaldo but admits that he can't be replaced directly: everyone have to play their part and tactics must be altered.

'Obviously Cristiano is a big loss in terms of the goals he gave us.

'But we will just have to find the goals from somewhere else and our tactics

ill adjust accordingly. Fans will see us playing a slightly different style of

ootball this season.

'Usually you look to score about 100 goals in all competitions, so we are aiming for that again. If we are going to win the league again or do well in Europe we certainly need players to step up.

'Going back a few years, we could always guarantee goals from Paul Scholes, Ryan Giggs and David Beckham, who always pitched in with about 10 a season.

'Those goals from midfield have dried up a little in recent years, so we have to address that.

'I will be looking to Park, Nani, Valencia - even Welbeck and Macheda - to contribute 40 goals between them. The defenders will contribute a few from set-pieces too.'

Well that's a bit over-optimistic for me... what do you think? Are those players capable of matching the targets Fergie set them?

I'm betting Anderson,Nani and Park will bag 20 between them and Owen will bag 20!!! Judge my prediction in May!!!!!!!

Keep your money Java old son, Anderson,Nani and Park will get about 3 each and the little Welsh Tw*t will get 10 if he can keep off the treatment table.

I think Anderson, Nani and Park will score 15 each, with Rooney and Berba getting 20 and 23 respectively and we'll get our revenge on Barca in our third straight CL final! This time Fergie will get those tactics spot on and we'll thrash them 4-0. No Ronaldo there to push Rooney on the wing! That is MY prediction :)

Park get 15 goals? lol no offense but thats the weakest part of his game, valencia has a better chance then park. also if fergie keeps playing anderson so deep he wont get that many goals (hopefully he will get some :| that would be an improvement in itself)

45? Anderson scoring 15? Nani and Park scoring 15 each? i think youre off by about 35 goals FU. I think youl still come comfy top4 - youre defence alone guarentees that....and i think Berbatov will do well for you. But them predictions are bonkers. Its like a soviet crop report estimate - hideously unrealistic.

Obviously that prediction was made tongue-in-cheek. I am fairly confident that we'll get the goals we need this season though. We found a way to score when Nistelrooy left and we'll do it again!
