Ankle Injury Forces Vidic To Stay At Home

Ankle Injury Forces Vidic To Stay At Home

Nemanja Vidic is also missing from the United squad that will take on a Malaysia XI on Saturday. Speculation on the continent suggested that the Serbian's absence is transfer-related but that is not the case: he's got an ankle injury which rules him out of the tour.

Moreover, his agent insisted, once again, that Vidic wouldn't go anywhere this summer.

"No, no no no no no. Not at all. Absolutely not at all. There is absolutely no transfer for Vidic. And, we do not expect any transfer for the time being. No he will stay for sure."

Case closed.
