Benzema Could Leave; Insane Vucinic Rumour

Benzema Could Leave; Insane Vucinic Rumour

Lyon coach Claude Puel confirmed that Karim Benzema would be allowed to leave if he expressed his desire to join a big club. The club and the coach confirmed that no offer has arrived for the young French striker yet but they are prepared to consider a suitable bid.

Puel added that it would be important to buy one or two players of high quality if Benzema were to leave Lyon. Reports suggest that he's almost certain to leave the French club this summer, despite previous assurances that he would be happy to stay for another year but his most likely destination is not Manchester United: Real Madrid are in pole position to sign him, unsurprisingly. How I wish they had signed David Villa...

Another rumour is doing the rounds and it's crazy enough to chill the blood: United are allegedly interested in Roma striker Mirko Vucinic. Well, I have no problem with him apart from the fact that he's mediocre, doesn't have any outstanding quality and no better than Welbeck or Macheda. Fortunately, there's an altogether more likeable report: that which claims Vucinic prefers to stay in Italy.

Has Villa gone anywhere yet? Cos if we don't get Benzema I'd have him....we need another winger or two; a striker would be a bonus, but with Berbatov, Rooney, Macheda and Welbeck we could possibly cope or reinforce in January. But really hope we get someone (good)...

Vucinic is a good player, hes more in the poocher mould. Villa hasn't decided where he'll go yet,

Football Manager says he is great - and if he's good enough for them and the daily star then he's good enough for me! ;)

Hmmm... Pjanic (Benzemas Team mate) seems to think that Benzema is definately on his way to old trafford for 45M euros. Will be interesting to see if hes right!

As far as vucinic is concerned,I don't think he is a bad player infact he is way better than that and if we play with only 2 strikers, then we will require at least one to accept the bench job and I don't think vucinic would command a regular spot,so everything would be fine.
