Berbatov Goes Nowhere, Of Course

Berbatov Goes Nowhere, Of Course

There were many rumours that following a less than magnificent campaign Dimitar Berbatov would be offloaded by Manchester United, with Times urging Fergie to cash in on the Bulgarian. However, even the gentlemen of the Fourth Estate must have expected that the boss would keep faith with his acquisition - after all, even Veron got another season.

Berba's agent Emil Dantchev have confirmed that this indeed would happen.

"Despite speculation that he may leave, I want to declare that Dimitar will play next season in Manchester United"

"There is no desire from the management for any separation."

"He will stay and we hope that he will win what he missed out on this year."

No surprises there.

RadioactiveD, precisely why we won the league. Because of our strength in depth. We need good subs - no good having brilliant first teamers if you're stuffed when they get injured. Besides, first seasons don't mean everything. 2nd season is normally when you begin to tell what they will really be like.
