Ribery Won't Join United

If Ronaldo left United, there are many who believe that Franck Ribéry would be the best replacement. The Bayern Munich midfielder is a quick, skilful, creative player, capable of playing on either flank or through the middle.

However, Bayern Munich have no intentions to sell it seems. A few weeks ago there were some noises in the Bavarian camp which could lead us to believe they were ready to cash in on him but their stance have obviously changed: they deny any agreement and state that Ribery will be a Bayern player next season.

Earlier there were reports that United asked Bayern about the Frenchman but that they were rejected - it looks like Ribery won't join us this summer.

not unless you pay well over the odds to satisfy the Bayern accountants!

Obviously, I've been spolied by Cristiano Ronaldo; he has taken wing play to a new level and for me Ribery doesn't come as close in terms of talent as he would do in price. I'll be glad if we don't get him, at his age he is unlikely to improve and could end up being another malouda.
