Congratulations Barcelona!

Congratulations Barcelona!

Well, this is it guys. It was another great adventure, another fantastic season but in the end we fell at the final hurdle. NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED OF.

Congratulations to Barcelona: they were the better team on the night and deserved their win. It could have been different, oh yes, but ultimately they are worthy winners. They deserve credit for their achievement which sets them apart this season.

So: congratulations, Barcelona!

Unlucky for you guys, you just couldn't get any rhythm going. For all the talk of Messi and Ronaldo, the ones to get you off your seat, it was the artists and intellects of the game in Xavi and, even more so, Iniesta who had that little bit too much quality to handle. There was too much to admire about Barca to detract from your performance.

You guys were totally outclassed by Barca. Be aware that Manchester City will do the same to you next season. We have a special relationship with class and quality just like Barca do.

Alex Ferguson got his selection all wrong tonight, he should of picked Howard Webb

ArsenalRob: I agree entirely about Xavi and Iniesta. Oh, and I swear I did not see Vital Chelsea's article before writing this! :-)

Good on ya for this. I can think of one or two Vital Man Utd'ers who wouldn't have said congratulations, so well done.

Apparently, they were two 'shoddy' goals conceded. Learn yerself some dignity will you, and *****in retire - classless****. No choice but to speak to ITV. Dead funny. 5 times. Always in our shadow. You did Busby proud tonight. Richest, biggest, whatever but never, ever, ever, the greatest. Tough to live with, I bet.

It's disappointing to see the English team crash out. It should've been a guaranteed English winner in an all English final but as it wasn't (yup still bitter), I was hoping that United would put a couple past Valdes. Maybe have Barcelona denied a few definite penalties, see how gracious they are then... (maybe even more bitter than I had thought!) but in the end, United paid for having the intention to set out to attack Barcelona, it's something most teams have found this season and I'm not too bitter (to United anyway) to congratulate on what's been a fantastic season for you, even if tonight didn't play as planned. Hope that it's a Chelsea vs United match up for the CL final next year. See you next season...

'See you next season...' you just reminded me that it's the end of the season... how depressing...
