Rio Looks Fully Fit

Rio Looks Fully Fit

Rio Ferdinand looks set to start against Barcelona on Wednesday as he came through a full training session unscathed. If he completes Tuesday's session without any problems he'll play at the Olimpico.

Sir Alex had wanted to give him a run-out against Hull in order to gain some match fitness in the final but Rio did not even make the bench at the KC Stadium. Yet the boss insisted that 'Rio's getting there. He should be absolutely fine for Wednesday'.

If he does not make it, Jonny Evans is fully fit and primed to appear in the biggest game of his entire career.

Hopefully he will play and not show any rustiness in his play.
