Ferdinand Did Very Well In Training
My gloomy predictions that Rio Ferdinand will not play in the Champions League final looks unfounded: the defender trained this morning and did very well, according to Sir Alex Ferguson.
The boss had earlier insisted that Rio needed a game before the final if he's to start in Rome and now it looks likely that he'll be fit to face Hull City and therefore he'll be available against Barcelona as well which is great news.
A little Barca-related injury news: Iniesta did not train yesterday, according to some sources while Daniel Alves picked up an injury that will sideline him for three weeks - though of course it does not matter in the slightest as Barcelona, just like ourselves, are already champions and he's suspended from the final anyway.
