Rio, Iniesta & Henry All Fit For Final
The stage is set but it is unclear yet whether all the main stars will make an appearance. United face Barcelona in Rome and doubts hang over the fitness of three key players.
However, all of them are optimistic of their chances of making it. Thierry Henry and Andres Iniesta declared they were confident of facing United while Rio Ferdinand voiced his absolute certainty that he'll shake off his minor problem in time.
Henry and Iniesta are training with the Barcelona squad now while Rio Ferdinand is preparing with some light training to face Hull on Sunday. He'll probably gain some match fitness under his belt before the final, unlike Henry and Iniesta.
So, suspensions (Alves, Abidal, Fletcher) and long-term injuries (Milito, Marquez, Hargreaves) apart, both teams are set to have their full squad available for the final. Just the way it should be.
