Rio Has A Chance Of Facing Wigan

Rio Has A Chance Of Facing Wigan

Rio Ferdinand is in the squad to face Wigan after missing the 2-0 win over City with a sliight calf injury. He might even play tomorrow.

Sir Alex, however, told reporters that the most important aim was to get him ready for Saturday's showdown with Arsenal, which, hopefully, will be a title clincher.

Jonny Evans has got a slight hamstring injury but he might be fit as well. If not, John O'Shea will play in defence alongside Nemanja Vidic, with Rafael retaining his place at right-back.

This is a really vital game for us,a victory and we would be within striking distance.I predict a 2-1 or 3-1 win for us.Hopefully rio will be fit or even evans would do a fine job but I hope the players don't take this game lightly that could be the biggest threat.

disappointed Gerrard won player of the year. thought rooney deserved it more (infact any of the united players). but hey, if we win the double again, and Liverpool end up with nothing, I won't care a bit.
