How Unlucky Is Anderson?!

Enthusiastic, full of energy, spurring everyone else on: these words can be safely used to describe Anderson's performances since returning from injury. His passing is still quite wayward but with experience and games that will improve.

However, he's one of the unluckiest players ever. Obviously I'm referring to his now infamous goal draught: I believe he played 70 games in a United shirt without scoring, penalty shootouts aside. And he had some near misses.

Actually, he had one yesterday night: James' poor clearance allowed him to steal the ball from Mullins and fired this wide of the post... I thought it was in first! It's looking like he won't score ever, the closest he got is still that Champions League game at Dynamo Kiev where he hit the post.

Will he EVER break his duck?

I dunno if he ever will...hope he does....because we need goals from medfield....carrick isn't the greatest shooter he scores a couple...scholes doesn't score much anymore....owen could score freekicks i guess....so we need someone from medfield to step up and cause defenders a headache with some decent long range shooting, or even from just outside the box or something....

cuz if they the opposition defence starts worrying about players from our medfield shooting then that in return should open up space for wingers/striker....and i think we really need anderson to become a goal scorer

I think when Anderson finally scores his 1st goal it will open the flood gates so to speak and he'll start putting them in now and again.

Just what i was going to say before I read your comment, Paulinho. Certainly hope so - he's just missing that final touch.

I have seen him score a few at international level and at his previous clubs,so I feel its just a question of when rather than if he scores.
