I Won't Miss Arshavin Next Week!

Well, I'm not sure I have entirely recovered from watching Liverpool v Arsenal... what a game. I must admit that I'm impressed by the Gooners, they were fighting as if their lives were on stake - in a game that was more or less meaningless to them.

It is so bloody typical that Liverpool didn't lose it: they were dead and buried but from a spectacular cock-up in defence they managed to equalise again... And of course I'd so dearly love to watch Fabregas' disallowed goal again...

But even though this 4-4 draw is a huge boost to our title hopes, the one thing that kept occuring to me was that I won't miss Arshavin next week! He is ineligible to play in the Champions League - and after watching him blast four goals past Liverpool in a mesmerising display I can't say I'm disappointed!

never liked him when he was at united and don't want him back (mikael that is) his reactions were always too slow...he needs a more assured defender alongside him to give him confidence like ferdinand or maybe even terry...gallas or toure aren't that...don't get me wrong toure is a good defender however he doesn't have that presence)

as for the article itself...arshavin looks like a wonder buy for arsenal....the technique in all his goals except for first were exequisite....but its just like arsenal to botch it up lasr minute....i laughed pretty hard when i saw that.... i'm glad we put a professional performance against pompey and that we kept another clean sheet.. i hope arsenal don't play with that same passion against us....and to me i think walcott will be their danger man especially if he comes on as a sub....especially given evra's stuttering form of late
